1

We would check the posture of the player to make sure they were plenty upright, not hunched over, that they were vending from the hips not the waist and that they were in athletic hose as if they were guarding someone in basketball. the hands would hang in the club and would be placed in the hands right where it was hanging, not reaching out for the ball.

2

First we need to know the player. We need to understand the player's arm strength and strength and figure out ball flight as it currently is in regards to his grip or her. Then we can determine whether or not the group is too weak or too strong either left hand or right hand and then make Corrections. Looking at the player if it is a strong player with plenty of strength we would have a neutral grip with the Vardon grip if it was a weaker player younger a female we would probably use interlocking and create a stronger grip to create more power.

3

There are two types of alignment : the ball line and the tow line. Hips and Shoulder Alignment as well. we would make sure that everything was Square at address

4

We would then assess the club face angle at address to make sure it was properly Square not shut or open and aligned at the Target. We must remember that we hit the inside quarter of the golf ball to hit a straight shot. If we hit the back of the ball Square the club face naturally will be closing and that ball will be left of your target.

5

Remembering that the takeaway does not hit the golf ball but sets us up to hit the golf ball we want to make sure the takeaway contains many things like tow control we want to make sure the toe stays outside of our hands on the way back and that we properly hinge the hands not fold the hands.

6

We also want to make sure that we are on the proper swing plane where the head traces the ball line on the way back then the grip takes over and that on the way down the grip comes down on the ball line and the head takes over and vice versa after the strike

7

We want to make sure when taking the club back the wrist hinges The thumb stays in the center of the chest all the way through the swing

8

We want to make sure that we deliver the club head to the inside quarter of the ball on a shallow plane so as to not dig we want to make sure that we are continually rotating through the ball, not hitting down and stopping.

9

We also want to make sure that in transition we are not increasing or decreasing Club head speed we are not adding force or removing force it is one continual motion the timing is the same back and through it is not a slow backswing with an increased forced through swing, we use a metronome in this case to get the timing proper everyone has his own individual timing it can be anywhere from 55 beats to 65 beats and faster

10

All great players arrive at impact in different ways, hips open, shoulders open, left wrist leading, supinated at impact, the right hand is neutral.

11

We also look for a beautifully balanced finish up on Tap Toe stacked on our left side facing the target.
